After Shikhar Dhawan was unable to play tonight, Sam Curran led Punjab and made the decision to field first. Lucknow got off to a strong start in the Powerplay thanks to KL Rahul and Kyle Mayers, with the former scoring his first half-century of the year. However, Punjab quickly regained control by taking wickets at regular intervals (4 in the middle overs and 4 in the death), with captain Sam Curran leading from the front and taking three wickets to keep Lucknow to 159/8.In the second innings, debutant Yudhvir gave Lucknow the early advantage by taking two wickets in his first two overs. However, Punjab Kings eventually prevailed in a nail-biting match and moved into the Top 4 of the standings thanks to Sikandar Raza’s composed half-century and Shahrukh Khan’s quick-fire knock!
