After defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore by a margin of seven wickets, DC earns their fourth victory in the previous five games. Virat Kohli’s half-century helped RCB get off to a fast start in the Powerplay after choosing to bat first. He also became the first player to reach the milestone of 7000 runs in the IPL while doing so. Mahipal Lomror’s aggressive half-century in the middle helped RCB maintain the momentum, but Delhi’s outstanding final two overs, in which they allowed just 15 runs, ensured that Bangalore’s season came to an end.

Phil Salt said “We discussed being optimistic before the game. We discussed playing off the back foot because we were aware of the wicket’s slowness and low pitch.
