Sunrisers Hyderabad defeat the opposition by nine runs to earn their third victory of the season! After deciding to bat, Sunrisers gained an early lead of more than 10 runs per over in the Powerplay thanks to some clean hitting from Abhishek Sharma, who scored his first half-century of the season. Heinrich Klaasen’s clean power hitting in the final overs helped Sunrisers score 62 runs in the final 5 overs and record a score of 197/6. Mitchell Marsh and Phil Salt scored half-centuries and put on a 100-run partnership in the second innings for the Hyderabad franchise, who also maintained their momentum. However, the Sunrisers Spinners pulled the momentum back, picking up 4 wickets between them to restrict Delhi to just 83 runs in the last 10 overs and end their 3-match losing streak.
