121 was never going to be sufficient against a hot LSG batting lineup. The powerplay went unused by SRH, and they continued to lose wickets frequently. Krunal Pandya was bowled during the powerplay, which was a great move by KL Rahul. After the left-arm finger spinner took two wickets in the eighth over, there was no turning back for the SunRisers. Pandya took 3 wickets and only let up 18 runs in his 4 overs.Both Ravi Bishnoi and his bowling were excellent, giving the batters nothing. With his two further wickets, Amit Mishra moved up to fourth place on the list of IPL players with the most wickets taken. LSG’s response saw a strong start after they scored 45 in the powerplay to move far ahead of the asking rate. LSG was successfully brought home with four over remaining with to Krunal Pandya’s position as the aggressor and Kl Rahul’s excellent performance as the sheet anchor. LSG is rapidly transforming this stadium into their stronghold, which has not yet been broken!
