Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma both had great starts but were unable to capitalise on them. The spinners Mitchell Santner and Ravindra Jadeja caused a change in the flow of momentum past the MI top and middle order.5 wickets totaled by left-arm spin, conceding only 48 runs in 8 overs. Tim David’s cameo of 31 helped MI reach a good total of 157, which was always a challenge to defend against csk’s strong batting lineup.
