The Mumbai Indians have won three straight games. MI When asked to bat first, the top order started out strong. Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma combined 41 runs for the first wicket in just 4.4 overs, then Kishan and Green added 47 runs for the second wicket. Cam Green needed just 40 balls to score his first IPL fifty, blasting 64. Tilak Varma’s cameo, which lasted 37 seconds and had a 217 percent hit rate, helped MI register a score higher than the Sunrisers’ typical tally. As a response, Harry Brook and Rahul Tripathi were lost by SRH during the powerplay thanks to some outstanding new ball bowling from Behrendorff. While Klaasen struck more than 225 but only managed to accumulate 36, Mayank Agarwal served as the sheet anchor but was unable to capitalise on the start. Jason Behrendorff, Riley Meredith, and Piyush Chawla all claimed two wickets. In their attempt to reach 193, SRH kept dropping wickets often and fell short by 14.
