DC finally adds a victory to its record. KKR did not have a good start, losing three wickets even during the powerplay. The only hitter to hold his end up was Jason Roy, but he continued losing teammates at the other end. The first hitter of the season managed 43 in his first game. Dre Russ’ power hitting helped KKR reach a respectable total of 127 runs. In return, had a strong start thanks to Warner’s over 150 powerplay hits. After some outstanding bowling from their spinners, who between them took 6 wickets and gave up only 52 runs in 12 overs, KKR regained control of the game. Nitish Rana, Anukul Roy, and Chakravarthy were all at the top of their games.
