The visitors achieved a wonderful result, snapping a four-match losing streak. Jason Roy’s 56 runs with a strike rate of 193 helped KKR get off to a strong start. Nitish Rana and Venkatesh Iyer also came up with a partnership in which Rana acted as the aggressor. The KKR captain scored 48 points from just 21 balls. Wiese and Rinku Singh’s cameo appearances made sure that KKR set a 200-point goal for the home team. In the first few of overs, RCB appeared to be unstoppable, but Nitish Rana’s brilliant decision to use the youthful leg spinner during the powerplay helped KKR win the match. In his first over, Suyash Sharma took the crucial wicket of Faf Du Plessis, then in his subsequent over, he dismissed Shahbaz Ahmed. Varun Chakravarthy, who has been KKR’s best bowler in the competition, raced through the middle of the RCB batting order. The mysterious spinner claimed three victims, including Glenn Maxwell, who was one of them. Mahipal Lomror and Virat Kohli resisted but were unable to win the game for their squad. Lomror struck 34 times for a strike rate of 189, while Kohli scored 54 runs off of 37. When facing KKR’s spin attack, RCB kept dropping wickets at regular intervals and never really found a way to recover. Nitish Rana and company had a successful day at work after defeating RCB by 21 runs.

Player of the Game goes to Varun Chakaravarthy.

Varun Chakaravarthy said “I went for 49 in my last game, and I fared well this game. Instead of more variety, I’ve been concentrating more on precision. I didn’t want to make any more changes. I’ve been training really hard, and I want to thank AC Pratheepan, Abhishek Nayar, and everyone else who has helped me with my bowling.
